Kliplok 700: the clean, concealed-fix workhorse
Kliplok 700 is a concealed-fix sheeting profile, which means the fasteners are hidden under the seam rather than screwed through the face of the sheet. The payoff is seamless, fastener-free sightlines, no rows of screws dotting a long roof plane. It’s the profile we reach for on architect-spec roofs in Dalkeith and Nedlands where the brief is a clean, uninterrupted line.
Because it runs in long, continuous lengths, Kliplok suits big, simple roof planes and low pitches especially well.
Standing seam: the sharp, architectural option
Standing seam takes the concealed-fix idea further, with a raised, interlocking vertical seam standing proud of the sheet. The result is a crisp, rhythmic shadow line up the roof (or the wall, since the same system works as cladding). It’s the premium end of metal roof plumbing, and it reads instantly as a considered, architectural choice rather than a standard re-roof.
Custom Orb and Trimdek: classic and crisp
Custom Orb is the classic corrugated COLORBOND® steel profile, and it has a trick the flat profiles don’t: it can be curved. A curved Custom Orb feature roof over an entry or a curved facade gives a softer line that plays off the harder geometry around it. Trimdek is the crisp, low-rib trapezoidal profile that suits long, contemporary planes and pairs cleanly with a curved Custom Orb feature in front of it.
How we choose
We pick the profile to suit the architecture and the exposure, then finish it with custom flashings and splayed gutter and fascia so the detail matches the sheet. Often a single home runs more than one: a curved Custom Orb feature against a large Trimdek or Kliplok roof behind.
